DES 16 Project 1: Illustration and Color Variations
In this project, facilitated and monitored by Professor Lechowick from the University of California, Davis, the goal is to experiment with various color schemes and adjust the shades and tints as needed. A female Chicana figure was utilized in this project to model the commonly seen streetwear that Chicanas wear, which includes baggy khaki pants, a checker-patterned flannel, hoop earrings, a tube top, and a cross necklace. The mulit-use of various colors, shades, and tints contribute to the complexity of the work and enhance the features of the clothing, the body, and the environment.
